You never know what will happen with your money when you listen to what other people tell you…
I see so many people make financial decisions based on what someone tells them to do. In some cases this is appropriate when you have no idea what to do with your money. However the end result is all the same… you never know what will happen.
Some of the time you may get a great outcome. Meaning the person who gave you advice actually gave you great information and it matched your priorities based on your financial and personal goals.
In other cases, they may have just given you some advice that was not very helpful or opposite of what you truly needed. They may not have done it on purpose…
It probably just happened on accident because they don’t know your full situation, maybe you weren’t as honest as you thought, or they just are not knowledgeable enough on the subject matter.
After all, regardless of whether or not you listen to someone when they give you advice – it doesn’t affect them! This applies to your personal financial adviser to your best friend… The person who will care the most about your money is YOU!
How it applies to you:
Remember when you are investing – it is not just about your money. It is also about your time, energy, and focus… and in the end – your life.
When it comes to creating a business, your personal finance, or deciding what to do with your money – you need to choose the best outcome based on what you want your future to be!
What someone thinks is great for your future may not turn out to be that great….
Everyone has different goals, preferences, ideas, and views – so you need to choose something that works for you and what you want your daily life to be like!
